WOBURN, England – Bronte Law figures that if she can get her mind right to Monday qualify for the Ricoh Women’s British Open with borrowed clubs, then anything is possible this week at Woburn Golf Club.
Law, fresh off of a victory at the European Ladies’ Amateur in Sweden, flew home Sunday afternoon but only her clothes followed her to Manchester, England.
According to Law, Air France failed to scan her golf bag, so her clubs could be anywhere.
A panicked Law dug out a 4-year-old set of irons and borrowed her instructor’s driver, fairway woods, wedges and putter.
