Victoria Lovelady made it after all.
The Brazilian golfer earned a spot in next month’s Rio Olympics when the teams were finalized Tuesday, the International Golf Federation confirmed.
Lovelady joins Northern Ireland’s Stephanie Meadow, who will be playing under the Irish flag, and Morocco’s Maha Haddioui as late additions. They were granted spots when the Netherlands’ national Olympic committee opted not to enter its two qualifying athletes, Christel Boeljon and Anne Van Dam. New Zealand also chose not to enter Cathryn Bristow, and the Philippines’ Dottie Ardina opted out of the event.
