PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. — Talk about a chance to join select company. A little repeat of 2015 could do the trick for Brandt Snedeker.
Only thing is, Snedeker isn’t naive enough to think he might not have to find a different route than he used in 2015. “I only made one bogey in 72 holes,” Snedeker said. "I don’t expect that to happen again.”
Indeed, his near-flawless effort a year ago — rounds of 64 at Monterey Peninsula, 67 at Spyglass, then 67-67 at Pebble Beach — earned Snedeker a three-stroke victory over Nick Watney in a tournament that he declares puts him “in a great frame of mind.
