Bradley navigates Tiger pairing with spirited run to make weekend of PGA

MOSEL, Wis. — As always, the spotlight was fixed on Tiger Woods, whose missed cut in the 97th PGA Championship was the main storyline Saturday morning after second-round play spilled into the weekend because of a ferocious Friday afternoon storm.

But as the attention swirled around Woods, Keegan Bradley let out a sigh of relief and felt a measure of pride. Perhaps the most improbable of the 77 players who made the cut, Bradley had reason to feel proud, too. In the spotlight, given his pairing alongside Woods, Bradley played a seven-hole stretch (No. 18 to No. 6) in 6 over Thursday and salvaged only a 4-over 76 when he finished birdie, birdie.
