SAN FRANCISCO – The buzz at the WGC-Cadillac Match Play on Saturday continued to be the nose-to-nose confrontation between Keegan Bradley and Miguel Angel Jimenez on Day 3.
Playing the final hole of a virtually meaningless match, Bradley and Jimenez had a dispute over a drop the American was taking.
After a heated exchange on the course, the two players – who both lost their first two matches and could not advance to the weekend – took the argument to the locker room and the dispute remains unsettled.
While both players downplayed the event, some applauded their passion.
