AKRON, Ohio – Steven Bowditch admitted his confidence has been reeling in recent days. Shooting an 83, as he did six days ago at the Quicken Loans National, will do that.
It’s safe to say the Aussie has turned things around a bit.
Bowditch fired a 7-under 63 in the third round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, the best score of the week by two shots and 20 shots better than his final-round effort last week at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.
“I don’t know what happened last Sunday,” Bowditch said.
