Bohn (heart attack) got Tour waiver for some meds

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Jason Bohn returns to the PGA Tour this week at the RBC Heritage fully recovered from a heart attack in February at the Honda Classic.

Bohn said his doctors cleared him for Tour duty about 10 days ago and he reiterated on Wednesday at Harbour Town that he feels better than he ever has.

While improved health is the byproduct of a procedure that inserted a stent into Bohn’s left anterior descending artery after he suffered a 99 percent blockage, some of the medication the two-time winner needed to take is on the Tour’s prohibited substance list.
