GREENSBORO, N.C. – So far, this week has gone just Jonas Blixt drew it up: hit fairways, make putts, move on to next week’s Barclays and the FedEx Cup playoffs.
On Saturday, he moved closer to that final goal with a third-round 62 that has him in second place and currently projected to move from 135th to 88th in the season-long points race.
“Going into this week I would be very pleased if I secured my job,” Blixt said. “A win will take care of that. Shoot another 62, I should have a good chance.
