GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the likes of Brian Stuard and Nicolas Thompson the end came quickly.
Both players missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship and will likely fall out of the top 125 on the FedEx Cup points list and miss the playoffs, which begin next week at The Barclays.
Through two rounds at Sedgefield Country Club, four players – including Stuard, Thompson, Scott Stallings and Jamie Donaldson – are projected to fall out of the top 125; while Tiger Woods, Tom Hoge, Camilo Villegas and Scott Langley are currently slated to advance to next week’s Barclays.
