Bernd Wiesberger wasn’t the only winner at the French Open. James Morrison, Jaco Van Zyl and Rafael Cabrera were victorious on Sunday, too.
A closing 6-under, bogey-free 65 carried Wiesberger to his third European Tour victory. His 13-under-par total of 271 resulted in a three-shot victory over Morrison. It’s the Austrian’s first win since two victories in 2012.
Morrison’s consolation is a trip to St. Andrews for the Open Championship. South African Van Zyl finished third at 8-under par. Cabrera-Bello posted a 5-under-par total to finish fifth a stroke behind Martin Kaymer. They took the three available spots in the Open Championship, which were allotted for three players in the top 10 not already exempt into St.
