Daniel Berger already had a Rookie of the Year award, but now he has a PGA Tour victory to his credit - and a new standing in the Official World Golf Rankings to prove it.
Berger jumped 17 spots to No. 29 in the world after his three-shot win at the FedEx St. Jude Classic. It marks a career high for the 23-year-old, who began the year ranked No. 53 and whose previous high of No. 41 was reached last month.
Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson both tied for second behind Berger, and each moved up three spots in the rankings: Koepka to 16th, and Mickelson to 17th.
