On Tuesday, it was the Bears getting the upper-hand on the Sooners, winning a second consecutive team title at the UTSA/Oak Hills Invitational. Baylor closed with a 4-over 288 at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, Texas, to finish at 11-over 863, five shots ahead of the runner-up Sooners.
Baylor, ranked 50th by Golfweek, was led by Freddy Anderson, who finished solo fifth at 3-over 216. Braden Bailey added a ninth-place finish for the Bears while Matthew Perrine and Andreas Gjesteby finished T-14 and T-20, respectively.
