Bad weather at St. Andrews not uncommon

Mother Nature reminded the world that this tournament is played on the east coast of Scotland as rain pummeled the Old Course at St. Andrews between the first and second rounds. Play was suspended for over three hours and groundscrews scrambled to prepare the course for major tournament golf once the rain ended.
