IRVING, Texas – When Phil Mickelson and Butch Harmon split last November it started a domino effect for Gary Woodland.
Woodland joined Harmon’s stable of players in 2012, but last March he went in a different direction and began working with Jim McLean. Earlier this year, things came full circle for Woodland and Harmon, who reunited in late March.
“Jim was great, but I had no results,” Woodland said on Saturday at the AT&T Byron Nelson where he’s posted back-to-back 64s to move into the top 10.
