Average driving distance on PGA Tour hasn’t changed much in over a decade

We assume that combining advancements in technology, more sophisticated custom-fitting methods and stronger athletes is the perfect recipe for more distance on the PGA Tour. There’s no doubt that Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson and Jason Day crush it, but it is interesting to note that the PGA Tour’s Driving Distance average has not changed too much over the past 10 years.
