Auburn rising sophomore Ben Schlottman fired a final-round 4-under 66 to win the Palmetto Amateur.
Schlottman, of Advance, N.C., bounced back from a 3-over over 73 in the third round, shooting the second-lowest round on Saturday to finish at 8-under 272, two shots clear of the field. He played the back nine at Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken, S.C., in 3-under 33, making two birdies in a row at 14 and 15.
Billy Kennerly, who finished his collegiate career at Clemson in the spring, put together a 5-under 65 to move into second place, two shot behind Schlottman at 6 under.
