As Jason Day continues to grow from failures, he moves closer to coveted Claret Jug

TROON, Scotland – Jason Day enters the 145th British Open having just squandered a back-nine lead at his last start, the WGC-Bridgestone in Akron eight days ago. Frankly, he seems perfectly at ease with that.

Day, the World No. 1, is all about finding ways to grow as a person and a golfer. Losing, he figures, offers a better learning experience than winning another trophy ever would.

“Even though I don’t like losing, it was great to be able to learn something from that and turn this into what I would say a learning experience, and try to move forward and get better from it,” Day said.
