NAPLES, Fla. – A small pond separated Michelle Wie and Lydia Ko as they played down parallel holes to close out 2015 at the CME Group Tour Championship. It felt more like an ocean sat between them.
Wie’s mother, Bo, gave a shout as her only child birdied the par-4 ninth to shoot 67. Meanwhile, over on 18, Inbee Park talked to reporters about qualifying for the LPGA Hall of the Fame as Ko wrapped up her winning campaign for Rolex Player of the Year.
The 2014 U.S. Women’s Open at Pinehurst was supposed to be a springboard for Wiesy, catapulting her into the same conversation at Ko and Park.
