With a complete effort, the Arkansas women's golf team won the 2015 Powerade Cougar Classic by seven shots.
The Razorbacks shot 7-under 857 at Yeamans Hall Club in Hanahan, S.C., finishing as the only team under par for the week. Arkansas' top four golfers finished tied for 12th or better, with Regina Plasencia (T-3) leading the way at 4 under. Senior Gaby Lopez, who finished the 2014-15 season ranked fifth in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, tied for seventh despite closing with a 77.
With three freshmen in the lineup, the Georgia Bulldogs finished runner up, with rookies Jillian Hollis (T-3) and Bailey Tardy (T-7) earning top-10 finishes.
