Daniel Im found atonement at the European Tour Qualifying School.
The New Jersey native earned his 2016 European Tour card by tying for medalist honors along with South Africa’s Ulrich Van Den Berg and Spain's Adrian Otaegui. The trio finished at 18-under 410. Van Den Berg and Otaegui shot matching 68s with Im returning a closing 71.
Van Den Berg was granted the first card courtesy of a better fifth-round score (69) than Otaegui (71), who took the second card. Im earned the third card.
The former UCLA player Im narrowly missed getting his card via the European Challenge Tour this year.
