Alison Lee is past the Solheim Cup "concession," ready to take on school

The greatest example of a Europeans catching American fever at the Solheim Cup – besides the blunt commentary of Dame Laura Davies – may have come from Alison Lee's former UCLA teammate Bronte Law.

“Going into the last round, Bronte (who's English) said, ‘Kick their butt’” Lee said. “I was like ‘Thanks!’ She’s obviously Team Europe, so that was pretty cool.”

If you've encountered Lee in the past week, you've probably asked her about "the concession" – the controversy that rocked the Solheim Cup.

It's only inevitable, as the etiquette faux pas became a lightning rod for debate and cast a dark light on a European squad that has dominated the competition in recent years.
