Alexander Noren clinched his second Nordea Masters title on Sunday, but this time with style. Noren posted 1-under 71 to finish four shots ahead of Dane Soren Kjeldsen, who won last week’s Irish Open.
Noren, 32, easily protected his two-shot overnight lead, finishing with a 12-under total of 276. He began the 2015 season on a medical extension (he suffered tendinitis in both wrists last year), but feels he can relax now.
“The win in the 2011 Nordea Masters was very thrilling; this one is very pleasing,” he said. “I wasn’t too confident coming into this week because I’ve had a tough time in the wind lately and here you really have to hit the right shots to get around.
