A week after suffering from what was diagnosed as Benign Positional Vertigo, Jason Day is back hitting golf balls and preparing for the year’s third major, according to his manager.
Bud Martin with Wasserman Media Group told GolfChannel.com that Day plans to play the Open Championship in two weeks after collapsing on Friday at the U.S. Open with dizziness and nausea.
“We’re moving forward cautiously optimistic,” Martin said.
Day had planned to play last week’s Travelers Championship but was advised by doctors to take the week off and rest. Martin said the Australian has a busy schedule the next few weeks, including the RBC Canadian Open the week after St.
