After lengthy slump, Song finds herself with share of LPGA Q-School lead

Everyone loves a good comeback story. Christine Song opened with a 7-under 65, her lowest score in five years, to take a share of the lead with Simin Feng after Round 1 of LPGA Q-School.

Last season, Song battled push-fades off the tee that went all of 150 yards. In an effort to gain more distance, she’d seen a handful of instructors in a short period of time and came to Joe Hallett mid-season desperate for clarity.

Hallett, longtime instructor of Stacy Lewis and all-around upbeat guy, helped Song get back in tune. How bad was it in 2014?
