A little half-smile crept over the face of Yani Tseng on Sunday after she knocked her approach to 12 feet on the 72nd hole. It was a familiar look, one that said, I’m feeling it, folks.
Unfortunately for Tseng, her birdie putt to force a playoff against Kris Tamulis took a hard lip-out. Tseng dropped to her knees in disbelief.
“Yeah, that was dirty there,” said playing competitor Austin Ernst, who tied for second with Tseng at the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic.
Tseng, a 15-time winner, has competed in 86 events since she last won on the LPGA.
