Adam Scott may not be too enthusiastic about Olympics golf, but the Australian still perks up when he plays in his home country.
A late Friday freefall took Scott out of full command in Melbourne but the 35-year-old did just enough for a share of the 36-hole lead at the Australian Masters.
After an opening 64, Scott threatened to run away with the tournament in the early proceedings on Friday. The Aussie completed a flawless front nine at Huntingdale Golf Club with four birdies and no bogeys to move to 11 under and five shots clear of the field.
