LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Jordan Spieth’s second career hole-in-one couldn’t have come at a better time.
Frustrated with his putting and shaky with his long game, Spieth’s tee shot on the par-3 second hole (his 11th of the day) received a nice bounce and dropped for a much-needed ace. He chipped in on the next hole, added two more short birdies and now sits at 5 under par for the day with one hole remaining in the weather-delayed BMW Championship opener.
It was Spieth's first hole-in-one since the 2013 Puerto Rico Open.
No doubt what today's Shot of the Day was: This ace by Jordan Spieth.
