Annie Park’s mother likes to dance, and she didn’t mind showing off her celebratory moves Thursday at the Evian Championship.
Park gave her mom, Ann, a lot to get excited about as her caddie.
Park blitzed the Evian Resort Golf Club with a 7-under-par 64 to move into early contention, one shot off the lead.
“It’s fun with her on the bag,” Annie said. “She keeps it light, kind of embarrasses me but keeps the group fun.”
Park, who won the individual NCAA championship while at USC in 2013, is an LPGA rookie looking to make her first tour victory memorable.
