GREENSBORO, N.C. – Graeme McDowell was tired of beating himself up.
As a player who straddles the PGA Tour and European Tour, McDowell has in recent years played mny of the toughest venues against the best fields. That combination often made par a desired score and sent thoughts of ultra-low rounds out the window.
But McDowell shook things up to begin the season, winning at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba, and he chased that with a T-3 finish at the RSM Classic. After a mediocre summer, the Ulsterman has again found a spark at the Wyndham Championship, where he is tied for sixth after a third-round 64.
