LONDON (AP) -- The 2019 Solheim Cup in 2019 will be staged at Gleneagles after Scotland beat a rival bid from Sweden.
The Ladies European Tour took the hosting decision after inspection visits of Gleneagles and Bro Hof Slott.
The competition will be played on the PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles.
Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon hopes the event ''will help cement Scotland's reputation as the Home of Golf.''
