A caddie died at the 2016 Omega Dubai Ladies Masters after collapsing on the course on Wednesday, with first-round action suspended as a result.
Per MailOnline's James Dutton, the caddie for Anne-Lise Caudal—who has not been named—collapsed on the 13th fairway at the Emirates Golf Club.
According to the tournament's website, he was "immediately attended to by the on-site medical team" but was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Per the Dubai Ladies Masters, Ladies European Tour CEO Ivan Khodabakhsh said: "Everyone at the Ladies European Tour is extremely shocked and saddened today by this sudden death and therefore we have taken the decision to suspend first round play as a mark of respect.
