Bridgestone has conducted more than 300,000 ball fittings, and the company took what it learned and developed the new B330, B330S, B330RX and B330RXS balls.
Like their predecessors, the B330 and B330S are four-piece balls designed for golfers who have a driver swing speed faster than 105 mph.
The B330RX and B330RXS are three-piece balls constructed with amateur players in mind and optimized for swing speeds of less than 105 mph.
All the balls feature Bridgestone’s new SlipRes cover coating, on which the company’s R&D department worked for four years.
“This is actually going to increase friction, which will lower full-shot spin and increase approach spin,” said Adam Rehberg, golf ball marketing coordinator for Bridgestone.
