115th U.S. Open: Hole locations for Round 2

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – As expected, the U.S. Golf Association flipped par at the first and 18th holes on Day 2 at the U.S. Open.

The first will play as a 593-yard par 5 and the closing frame a 515-yard par 4, a move that will likely be copied over the weekend at Chambers Bay.

Officials also moved the tee up at the short 12th hole by 33 yards, playing the driveable hole at 284 yards on Friday. That, however, doesn’t mean the course will necessarily play easier on Day 2.

Many hole locations appear tucked on precarious edges, starting at the first which is located in the back-left portion of the green bringing a large slope into play.
