The 2017 U.S. Open is held this week at Erin Hills in Erin Hills, Wisconsin. This is your complete guide to watch this's year second major online. TV is always an easy option, with the U.S. Open televised on Fox Sports 1 and Fox this year. But for those of you unable to watch on live TV, we’ve put together a list of the best free live streams out there:
Fox Sports Go
A TV simulcast should be up on the Fox Sports Go for all four days. Of course, you will need a cable provider username and password. Another note, their app and streams aren't always the most consistent. Still, if you have cable and are trying to watch at work, this is the way to go.
The U.S. Open Website
The U.S. Open Website is also streaming the event. It's the simplest route, and it's free. It will featured the "featured groups" that online golf streamers are accustomed to.
Free Trials
If you're really desperate, you can try a seven-day free trial with DirecTV NOW, Sling TV or FuboTV. That gets you a week pass for live TV, allowing you to watch the U.S. Open. But if you go this route, don't forget to cancel your account afterwards!
Those options are the safest routes, but there is the alternative streaming route. But first, a note...
Don't download anything from any of these sites. Some have very creative pop-ups that tell you to download a video player to watch, or that your player is out of date. That isn't true, and none of these streams require anything other than Flash (which 99.9 percent of you have on your computer already). Also, AdBlock is your friend.
Disclaimer: Chat Sports does not encourage the illegal streaming of games, but we’re not naive enough to pretend that it doesn’t happen. Stream at your own risk (and don’t download anything from these sites – it’s like the Wild West out there).
U.S. Open Stream 1 (best option)
Chat Sports is your home on the internet for the most complete coverage of your favorite teams. Download the app today to revolutionize your sports experience.
