The Golden State Warriors suffered a disappointing loss to the Miami Heat last week, but have quickly built another long winning streak, winning all four of their games since. More on the week that was and more inside our Warriors Weekly update:
Last Week:
Golden State started the week at home against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday, and they dropped the hammer on their in-state rivals, blowing them out from the opening tip for the 144-98 victory. Stephen Curry scored 43 points in the game - including 25 points in the third quarter alone - in the Warriors' eighth straight win over LA.
They then went up to Portland on Sunday to face the Portland Trail Blazers in the second half of a back-to-back, and they struggled to put the game away. Curry missed the game with the stomach flu, yet the Warriors built a 21-point lead in the first half and led by 10 points going into the fourth quarter. Yet, the Blazers made a game of it and had a chance to win it at the end, but couldn't capitalize.

Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson combined for 60 points in the win, picking up the slack with Curry out.
Curry returned with authority on Wednesday when Golden State hosted his hometown Charlotte Hornets, hitting eight three-pointers in the first half and 11 in the game. He finished with 39 points in the 126-11 win.
What's Up Next:
Golden State starts the week with a big road game tonight against the Clippers, then wrap up the short two-game road trip on Saturday against the Sacramento Kings. They then return home to face the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
