The Golden State Warriors didn't make any additions to their team prior to the trade deadline, and they were looking to potentially sign a player or two on the buyout market.
Veteran forward Joe Johnson has agreed to sign with the Rockets, but the Warriors tried to sign him before he picked Houston over them, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Johnson, who was traded from the Utah Jazz to the Sacramento Kings at the deadline, is averaging 7.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 21.9 minutes per game this season.
After striking out on Johnson, the Warriors targeted former Atlanta Hawks sharpshooter Marco Belinelli. However, he also turned down Golden State for the Philadephia 76ers.
Guard Marco Belinelli has committed to the Philadelphia 76ers to sign a free agent contract, league sources tell ESPN. Belinelli agreed to a buyout with the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, and can sign with the Sixers upon clearing waivers.

Belinelli is averaging 11.4 points per game while shooting 37.2 percent from three-point range.
