Stephen Curry still will not play for the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the playoffs, but he is traveling with the team to San Antonio for Games 3 and 4 as he continues his rehab, according to Mark Medina of the San Jose Mercury News.
As expected, Stephen Curry will travel with the Warriors for Games 3 and 4 in San Antonio. Warriors leave Wednesday and will be there until Sunday, which gives Curry ability to rehab with training staff & be around the team.
Curry is recovering from an MCL injury he suffered in Golden State's 106-94 win over the Atlanta Hawks on March 23.
The two-time MVP added more running and lateral movement to his rehab this week and will be re-evaluated again on Saturday. The Warriors expect him to be 100 percent ready to go for the second round should they finish off their series against the Spurs.
Game 3 of the series is Thursday at 9:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
Curry averaged 26.4 points, 6.1 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game this season.
