Golden State Warriors news got a little better this week when Steph Curry told reporters he is expecting to play at some point this season. There was some speculation after Curry broke his left hand a few weeks ago that the star point guard would sit out the entire season. The Warriors are one of the worst teams in the NBA right now. Curry will not be available until late spring but could still return to the court to get some practice before the 2020 Olympics. Head Coach Steve Kerr insisted to reporters this week that the Warriors are not trying to tank despite their terrible record so far this year. Host Thomas Mott points out in today’s video that the first-round pick that the Warriors traded to Brooklyn for D’Angelo Russell will come back to the Warriors if the pick is in the top 20. This is likely since the Warriors have one of the worst records in the NBA right now.
