Nick Young took less money to sign with the Golden State Warriors on the mid-level exception ($5.2 million) this week, turning down several other offers to play for the defending champs.
The Warriors had been targeting Young, and Draymond Green essentially served as the team's primary recruiter for Young, who explains what won him over.

The addition of Young will help replace Ian Clark, who is going to get more money on the open market than Golden State can afford. Young will serve as a bench scorer for the Warriors.

Young averaged 13.2 points per game and shot 40 percent from 3-point range last year for the Los Angeles Lakers.
