Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry thinks he'll play in Game 3 of the team's series against the Portland Trail Blazers, but he won't be playing in Game 2. Head coach Steve Kerr ruled Curry out on Monday as he recovers from a knee injury.
Kerr on Curry: "I'll just say he's doubtful to give people something to chew on. But he's not playing tomorrow."

Curry suffered the injury in the Warriors' Game 4 win over the Houston Rockets in the first round after slipping on a wet spot:

He was given an initial recovery timeline of two weeks. A Game 3 return would be earlier than expected.
Curry also suffered an ankle injury Game 1 against the Rockets, which caused him to miss two games.
