The Golden State Warriors and forward Harrison Barnes are still negotiating an extension, according to multiple media reports.
Barnes had previously rejected Golden State's initial four-year, $64 million offer that would have paid him $16 million annually.

Barnes has since fired his agent, Jeff Wechsler, and hired Jeff Shorts of Excel Sports.
The Warriors are hoping to re-sign Barnes by the Oct. 31 deadline to keep him from becoming a restricted free agent this summer. The 23-year-old averaged 10.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game last year while measuring out as one of the league's most efficient players.
