The Warriors dropped their 5th game of the season to the Trail Blazers 137-105 tonight in Portland, a game controlled by the home team from the start. The loss puts the Warriors record at 48-5 in their historic run for an NBA-record 73 wins.
The game was out of hand in the 3rd quarter, causing Steve Kerr to sit stars Steph Curry and Draymond Green the entire 4th quarter.
Portland PG Damian Lillard had a career-high 51 points in the victory, while Curry added 31 points for the Warriors.
The Blazers got off to a hot start, scoring 42 points in the 1st quarter, and blowing open the game in the 3rd, outscoring the Warriors 36-17 in the quarter.
The Warriors travel to LA to face the Clippers Saturday at 5:30pm PT. The Blazers host the Jazz on Sunday at 6pm PT.
