The Golden State Warriors are a perfect 15-0 and can set the NBA record for most wins to start a season with a win over the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday. But the Warriors have still suffered a loss this season.
It comes in the form of interim coach Luke Walton's car. Walton, who is coaching the team while Steve Kerr recovers from back surgery, had his Mercedes Benz stolen in Oakland.
Walton's car was stolen during a crime spree in Oakland on Thursday. NBC Bay Area reports that police believe that two suspects stole Walton's Benz and also attacked a 75-year old woman and stole her car.
Lamonte Campbell was charged with stealing Walton's car and for assaulting the elderly woman, per KRON News.
Campbell was spotted the next day driving the Friday and sped away from police. Unfortunately for Walton, Campbell crashed the car before police were able to capture Campbell. He's being held on $355,000 bail.
