The Golden State Warriors just continue to win. The Warriors are now 19-0 after beating the Utah Jazz 106-103 Monday Night. It was a hard-fought contest, but the Jazz dropped to 8-8 with the loss.
It was a one or two score game for much of the fourth quarter, but it was the Warriors who came out on top. The Jazz had a chance to win the game late, but couldn't get the go-ahead basket to fall.
Draymond Green and Klay Thompson each put up 20 points for the Warriors. Green also added nine rebounds and seven assists. Curry struggled early and had just seven points in the first half. However, he closed the game well and finished with a game-high 26 points, six rebounds and five assists. Those three were the only Warriors to attempt more than seven shots.
The Warriors' leading scorer through the first two quarters was Ian Clark, who had 12 points in limited time. The Warriors led 53-48 at the half, but the Jazz kept the game close throughout.
Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors led the way for the Jazz, with 24 and 23 points, respectively. Favors had a double-double with 10 rebounds. Rudy Gobert also had a double-double, putting up 13 points and 11 boards. Alec Burks played well, adding 19 points off the bench.
The Warriors look to improve to 20-0 when they visit the Charlotte Hornets Wednesday. The Jazz will try to bounce back Thursday, as they host the Orlando Magic.
