Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr missed the team's Game 3 win over the Portland Trail Blazers due to an mysterious illness, and we now have more clarity surrounding the reigning NBA Coach of the Year's health.
Kerr told the media that he is dealing with chronic back pain that has been plaguing him for the past two years, and he will not be coach in Monday's Game 4 - and may miss the remainder of the playoffs.
Kerr surprised media by coming to availability. Announced that he's consulting with doctors and won't coach tomorrow.

Kerr confirmed that it's a possibility he won't coach again in the playoffs. Said his symptoms got worse 5 days ago.

Kerr missed the first half of last season recovering from two offseason back surgeries.
Assistant coach Mike Brown will remain the team's acting head coach until Kerr is able to return.
