Stephen Curry made his return in Game 4 for the Golden State Warriors, and he certainly didn't show any rust.
He provided the spark Golden State needed down the stretch as they pulled off the 132-125 comeback overtime victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. He finished the game with 40 points - including 27 in the fourth-quarter and overtime - to help the Warriors take the 3-1 series lead.
The Blazers came out of the gates on absolute fire, going on a 16-2 run to start the game to build an early double-digit lead. Golden State managed to cut into it a little bit, but Portland still led 67-57 at halftime.
However, the Warriors would not go quietly into the night. They responded with 22-7 run in the third quarter to take a three-point lead - a lead they held until the middle of the fourth-quarter when three straight Portland threes gave the Blazers the 96-95 lead.
The two sides then traded the lead six more times down the stretch until a three-pointer from Harrison Barnes tied the game 111-111 with less than a minute to play, and after two missed shots from Lillard and Curry, the game headed into overtime.
Curry scored the first 12 points for the Warriors in overtime as they built a 123-118 lead, and they held on from there to seal the victory. Curry finished with 17 points in overtime, setting a NBA record.
Klay Thompson had 23 points, while Draymond Green contributed 21 points and a career-high seven blocks.
Damian Lillard led the Blazers with 36 points and 10 assists. C.J. McCollum also scored 24 points and Al-Farouq Aminu put up another productive night (18 points, 13 rebounds).
Game 5 will be in Oakland on Wednesday at 10:30 pm ET on TNT.
