Not long before the official news was reported, Curry thanked all of his well wishers while hinting at a positive MRI result.

The Warriors will now have to close out the Houston Rockets without Curry. Their first opportunity to do so will be on Wednesday, April 27 on their home floor. If they can get by Houston, Golden State would take on the winner of the Los Angeles Clippers-Portland Trail Blazers series, which the Clippers currently lead 2-1.
The best-case scenario is Curry returning midway through the second round, which will begin sometime in early May depending on when these two series wrap up. Of course, Curry's return will depend on how the team's medical staff feels he is progressing when he is reevaluated in two weeks.
