Frustrated with several foul calls that went against him in Game 6, Curry went on an animated tirade after fouling out and threw his mouthpiece, resulting in his first career ejection.

There was speculation about a possible suspension for Curry given a previous Finals incident involving Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem, who was suspended a game for throwing his mouthpiece. However, Haslem threw his mouthpiece at an official, triggering the one-game suspension.
Curry finished the game with 30 points. He also set the record for most three-pointers made in a NBA Finals series with 28.
