The March 7th edition of Sports Illustrated features the Golden State Warriors' three best players on the cover. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are on the cover, which is embedded below. The edition comes with a feature story from Rick Reilly, who has returned to Sports Illustrated.
The Warriors are 53-5 and in position to break the NBA single-season win record currently held by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls at 72 wins. Reilly's article focuses mostly on Curry, Green and Thompson. It transcends several weeks of the NBA season and has multiple scenes focusing on the Warriors' version of the Big 3.
Curry is in the midst of a dominant season, averaging 30.7 points per game. He's already passed his own NBA record for 3-pointers in a season and is hitting an absurd 46.8 percent of them.
Green is putting up 13.8 points per game, 9.7 rebounds per game and 7.4 assists per game. Thompson, the other splash brother, is putting up 21.8 points per game.
The Warriors look for win No. 54 Tuesday night against the Atlanta Hawks.
