Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was not at Monday morning shootaround, according to multiple reports, leaving his status for Game 2 against the Houston Rockets in question.
Curry rolled his ankle in the second quarter of Game 1, and barely played in the second half with the Warriors holding a big lead until the final buzzer. Golden State blew out Houston at home on Saturday, winning 104-78.
The reigning NBA MVP was at the team's practice facility on Sunday, but only to receive treatment at his ankle. The treatment continued on Monday, according to Warriors Insider Monte Poole, but Curry's whereabouts will remain unknown until the team shows up at Oracle Arena later this evening.
Despite playing only 20 minutes, Curry led the Warriors with 24 points in Game 1 on 8-for-13 shooting from the field (5-for-7 from three). Tip-off is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 p.m.
